I’ve recently become obsessed with HotPinkPineappe’s Instagram page. I love her fun pastel coloured home filled with unique DIY projects. This gorgeous arched board and batten accent wall in her dining room is my favourite! Arched Board and Batten Nursery
Since we’re on the arch train we’re jumping right on over to Elise from Hunters Of Happiness version of an arched board and batten wall for her daughters nursery. This idea is genius and so special for a little girls room. Elise painstakingly cut out each arch from a sheet of MDF. Worth it? I say 1000x yes! How special is this triangular wall treatment by House By Hoff? I am constantly blown away be the talented DIYers out there! April created this DIY accent wall with intricate planning and simple trim board. This geometric wall treatment proves that with a bit of creativity and a whole lot of patience you can create anything! A complicated pattern like this requires lots of wood filler and sanding, but is so worth it in the end.
Double Batten Accent Wall
This is such a great twist on a board and batten classic – the double board! A typical style would just be single boards spaced out equally along the wall, but Ligia and Matt went for something a little bit extra! They created a fun and unique pattern by installing two differently sized boards a few inches apart. The result is a totally original accent wall that adds loads of texture to this space.
