Can anyone eat at Harvard dining hall? ›

Undergraduates enjoy unlimited dining at Annenberg Dining Hall or in their Houses. Any member of the community can also dine in one of our many cafes. Explore the full range of our dining experiences.

FY23-24 rates: 5 Meal Plan $1,367.50 per term. 10 Meal Plan $2,720.50 per term.

First-year students all eat together in Annenberg Hall. During sophom*ore through senior year, students typically eat in the dining hall located within their Houses, although students can choose to eat at other House dining halls as well. See more about dining.

Here is an example of what students like me eat in a week here on campus! Brunch: Bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese with fruit and home fries. Dinner: Steamed zucchini rings, spanish roasted potatoes with tomato sauce. Sunday is brunch day, so most students head to the D-Halls (dining halls) around noon to eat.

Noch's has been serving up great pizza and subs to Harvard University students for over 30 years. Come to Pinocchio's and have the best slices of sicilian pizza and mouth-watering steak sandwiches!

Competition for the richest families is driving up costs

That means a top-ranked university can charge whatever it wants and will still find wealthy families willing and able to pay each year. “Flagship schools are competing for talented students and families that can pay the sticker price,” said Hill.

Before they get there, though, Harvard students have a steep price to pay. Tuition for the 2024-25 school year costs $56,550, according to the school's website. Additional fees like housing, food and student services brings the total cost of attendance up to $82,866.

What are Harvard dorms like? ›

We place first-years in suites with other first-year students, allowing for plenty of opportunities to socialize and bond. Dormitories have a wide variety of rooming arrangements that range from doubles to larger suites. Some have their own bathrooms, but most students share a bathroom with other suites.

Generally speaking, graduate students may only dine in undergraduate dining halls as a guest of a resident student or member of the House community. Meals may be purchased with cash, and prior permission from the House Administrator or Faculty Dean is encouraged.

Residential Restaurants

Guests and visitors can purchase Meal Tickets or Visitor BruinCards to use at the restaurants (due to labor shortages, currently not accepted).

Students are welcome to have guests in the dining halls. Payment at a guest rate may be made by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover or AmEx) or may be charged to the student's Yale account with Student Financial Services. Dining Points or Eli Bucks may be used for guests' meals also.

The Harvard University Visitor Center offers several different types of tours. For our in person tour offerings on campus, we provide the Official Historical Tour of Harvard. All tours are provided to the public for free and to private groups for a fee. Our tours typically run 45-60 minutes.

Everyone is welcome to eat at our dining rooms.
